Is it the game we have all been waiting for? The answer to that question is yet to be discovered, there is talk that this 
game is going to be totally free to play. Excellent! Is what we say. Pretty Sure they will have some kind of premium version of the game. Expect to see the next addition to this great game series after the start of 2011.

Age Of Empires Online Game Beta Testing
In the early stages of beta testing age of empires online we believe they will be ready for world wide release of the game very shortly. It was great to watch the video and get a sneak preview of what they have in store for us. The graphics and game play look extremely crisp, colorful and very inviting. Still maintaining much of the old style real time strategy game style, many of Strategy us gamers are in for a real treat.
It looks as if the developers have added some extra game play. Your Empire can continue you to grow even when you are away from the PC. With Age of Empires Online your town will continue to collect resources and trade with players all over the World.
With almost a complete revamp the first noticeable change and effect to the game are the Graphics, we believe so good it is almost as if you are playing a cartoon.
The developers at the time of writing this page were still looking for beta testers for Age Of Empires Online so if your interested head on over and get your self an account. As with all games in the beta phase you should expect some bugs in the game and if you experience any just send em a support ticket.

When you play this game if you have ever played the previous games you will pick it up very quickly, the largest difference you may notice are the way you can upgrade buildings and your work force whether that is Archers, woodcutters and so on.
With neat little slots for you to place items you have discovered or been awarded. A little like the 3rd addition you can use advisers, but these in age of empires online will give players distinct advantages such as greater resource collection or extreme fore power.
